Pasta with shrimp is a dish made with noodles, shrimp, and a sauce. 
Pasta can be any type, but the most common are spaghetti, linguine, and fettuccine. 
Shrimp can be fresh or frozen, and must be cooked before being added to the sauce. 
The sauce can be made with tomato, cream, or other ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 500g pasta

  • 500g medium shrimp, cleaned and shelled

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1/2 cup of white wine

  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large pan.
  • Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until pink.
  • Add the white wine and let it boil for 1 minute.
  • Add the peeled tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the cooked pasta and mix well.
  • Serve immediately.
