The practicality of this orange cake with syrup makes it even more delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole eggs

  • 2 and 1/2 cups (tea) of sifted wheat flour

  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 cup (tea) orange juice

  • 1 orange peeled and chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chemical yeast

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of oil

  • 80 grams of sugar

  • 240 ml of orange juice

Directions

  • In the blender add the eggs and sugar, cover and beat well.
  • Add the orange juice, the chopped orange, the oil and beat again.
  • Transfer the dough to a container and gradually add the wheat flour while stirring until smooth.
  • Add the chemical baking powder and stir again very well, in order to leave the mass smooth and uniform.
  • Transfer the dough to a greased mold and bake in an oven heated to 180º₢ for about 40 minutes. 
    Remove from oven and unmold when warm.
  • For the syrup add the orange juice and sugar to a pan, stir and leave in the heat for about 7 minutes, until the mixture is creamy.
  • Remove the syrup from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. 
    Add over the orange cake and the recipe is ready.
