Ingredients

  • 3 medium oranges

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
  • Wash the oranges well and cut them into small pieces, removing the seeds. 
    Leave the peel of the oranges, as this will be used in the recipe.
  • In the blender, add the sliced ​​oranges, eggs, sugar and oil.
  • Beat everything for a few minutes until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, sift the wheat flour and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the liquid mixture from the blender, stirring gently with a spoon or spatula, until the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into the pre-greased tin and bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. 
    Then unmold it and place it on a serving plate.
