The oven omelet has a creamier and moister flavor than the traditional omelet, and is a great option for a quick and easy lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped ham (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped tomato (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, cheese, ham, onion and tomato. 
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking dish greased with butter or olive oil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the omelet is golden and cooked through.

Notes

  • You can add other ingredients to the omelet, such as vegetables, meat or herbs.
  • For a creamier omelet, beat the eggs longer.
  • If you want a taller omelet, add more eggs or milk to the mixture.
