Nescau Brownie

Ingredients
2/3 cup of Nescau (chocolate powder)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup of sugar
2 big eggs
3/4 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease a square or rectangular mold (approximately 20×20 cm) with butter or line it with baking paper. - In a large bowl, mix the sugar, melted butter and Nescau (chocolate powder).
- Stir well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix again.
- Add the flour and salt to the chocolate mixture, stirring gently until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- If desired, add chopped walnuts at this stage to give the brownie a crunch.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out with a few moist but not runny crumbs.
- The brownie’s sweet spot is when it’s slightly moist in the middle.
- Remove from oven and let cool in pan for a few minutes.
- Cut in squares and serve.
- If desired, you can sprinkle some icing sugar on top to decorate.
