Ingredients
1/4 cup (50g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1/4 cup (50g) sugar
1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon chemical baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup (30g) chopped semisweet chocolate
Directions
- In a large mug, combine the butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
Mix well until you form a homogeneous cream. - Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix gently until incorporated. - Lastly, add the chopped chocolate.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until brownie is cooked through.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a fluffier brownie, add 1 tsp cocoa powder.
- For a crispier brownie, add 1/4 cup (25g) chopped walnuts or white chocolate chips.
- Serve the brownie hot or cold, with ice cream, whipped cream or chocolate sauce.
