The president holds him responsible for leaking confidential government information. However, there was no official communication yet, but the news was confirmed by the media.
Javier Milei fired the first member of his Cabinet less than two months after taking office. He Minister of Infrastructure, Guillermo Ferraro, left his position. He is held responsible for the leak of a Cabinet meeting in which the President attacked the governors and assured of “leaving them without a penny.” However, there was no official communication yet, but the news was confirmed by the media.
The excuse for the dismissal is the leak of Milei’s statement about the governors, but according to the newspaper Clarín, Ferraro was highly questioned by the Chief of Staff, Nicolás Posse, a trusted official of the president. The Chief of Staff demanded that he not move forward with the appointments that he entrusted to him for his area.
The former Minister of Infrastructure worked, among others, in the provincial administrations of Antonio Cafiero and Eduardo Duhalde. After several positions and years in Peronism, he moved to the PRO of Mauricio Macri, in which he occupied a place in the management of the City of Buenos Aires.
