Here’s a basic recipe for you to try:
Ingredients
- pancake dough
1 cup wheat flour
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
A bit of salt
- meat stuffing
300g of ground meat (can be beef, pork or mixed)
1 ripe tomato, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional spices: cumin, paprika, oregano, etc.
Oil for sautéing
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, milk, eggs, oil and salt until you get a homogeneous mass.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and grease with a little oil.
- Pour a portion of the dough into the skillet and spread to form a thin layer.
Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
Repeat the process until you finish the dough.
Book the pancakes. - In another pan, heat a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
- Add the ground beef and cook until it is fully cooked and browned.
- Add chopped tomatoes and seasonings of your choice.
Cook for a few minutes until the tomato softens. - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Adjust seasonings to your personal taste. - Place a portion of the meat filling in the center of each pancake.
- Fold the sides of the pancake over the filling and roll up to form a roll.
