Let’s go to the list of ingredients and how to prepare your Cassava Cake to be wonderful!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 500g grated cassava

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Grated coconut for sprinkling (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round mold with butter and flour.
  • In a large bowl, mix the grated cassava, eggs and sugar until you get a homogeneous mass.
  • Add the coconut milk, milk and melted butter to the cassava mixture.
  • Stir well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Add the baking powder and salt.
  • Mix gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes in the pan.
  • Then unmold it and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated coconut over the cake before serving.
