Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cups (tea) of refined sugar (260 grams)
2 cups (tea) of sifted wheat flour (210 grams)
1 cup (tea) of butter or margarine (160 grams)
1 cup (tea) of milk (150 ml)
1 cup cornstarch (90 grams)
1/2 tablespoon chemical baking powder
Directions
- In a mixer add the eggs, milk, sugar and beat well.
Add the butter or margarine and beat again. - Turn off the mixer and add the sifted wheat flour, sifted corn starch and beat very well.
Put the baking powder and beat until the dough is homogeneous. - Pour the dough into a greased shape with butter and wheat flour.
Place the cake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. - Unmold the homemade sand cake after it has cooled to room temperature, cut it and the recipe is ready to serve.
