Ingredients
1 kg of ground beef
1/2 cup (tea) grated onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10 slices of ham
10 slices of mozzarella cheese
1 beaten egg for brushing
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt and black pepper.
- Spread the ground meat on plastic wrap, forming a rectangle measuring approximately 30 x 40 cm.
- Place the slices of ham and cheese over the ground meat, leaving a 2 cm margin around the edges.
- Wrap the ground meat with the help of plastic film, forming a roulade.
- Cut the ends of the roulade and brush with beaten egg.
- Place the roulade in a preheated medium oven (180ºC) for approximately 30 minutes, or until golden.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, you can add ingredients such as corn, peas, olives or tomatoes to the filling.
- You can also replace the ham and cheese with other ingredients, such as shredded chicken, tuna or spinach.
