3 eggs

2 cups of cornmeal
1 cup wheat flour

- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter or oil and sprinkle with cornmeal or flour.
- In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, fennel (if using), and pinch of salt.

- In another bowl, beat the eggs with a fork or a fouet until well blended.
