Easy Yogurt Cake

Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup (200g) plain yogurt
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 and 1/2 cups wheat flour
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the yogurt and oil to the egg and sugar mixture.
- Mix well.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt over the egg and yogurt mixture.
- Mix gently until all ingredients are incorporated.
- If desired, add vanilla extract and mix again.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, leveling it with a spatula.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
- Then transfer it to a cooling rack and let it cool completely before serving.
