There are days that ask for a light, tasty dessert that doesn’t make a mess, like this currant sago!

Ingredients

  • 300ml redcurrant syrup

  • 1 cup (tea) of sago

  • 1 liter of water

  • Cinnamon stick to taste

  • Cloves to taste

Directions

  • Boil water with cloves and cinnamon to taste. 
    Sift the hot water and transfer to a pan with the sago.
  • Add the currant syrup and mix very well. 
    Cook, stirring occasionally, until it boils and the sago balls become transparent.
  • Transfer to a container and let cool at room temperature. 
    Cover, refrigerate for at least 6 hours and serve the currant sago chilled.
