Ingredients
5 hard ears of corn
1 liter of milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Remove the kernels from the corn cobs and wash them well.
- Blend the corn kernels in a blender with the milk until creamy.
- Strain the cream through a fine sieve, pressing well to extract all the liquid.
- Place the strained liquid in a pan, add the sugar and salt and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
- Turn off the heat and transfer the curau to a refractory dish.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon powder to taste and serve hot or cold.
