Let’s make your Rice Pudding Creamy by following the step-by-step instructions for preparing your dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice

  • 4 cups of water

  • 4 cups whole milk

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1 can of cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Cinnamon powder for sprinkling

Directions

  • In a large pot, combine the rice and water.
  • Place over medium heat and cook until the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
  • Add the milk, condensed milk, cream and vanilla essence.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Serve hot or cold, sprinkled with ground cinnamon.

Notes

  • For an even creamier rice pudding, use whole milk and heavy cream.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the rice pudding, such as raisins, nuts or dried fruit.
  • Sweet rice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
