
Creamy chicken pie is a savory dish made with dough and chicken filling. The dough is usually made with wheat flour, milk, oil, egg and baking powder. The filling is made with cooked and shredded chicken, seasonings and other additional ingredients, such as corn, peas, olives, tomatoes, etc.

Ingredients
2 glasses (300 ml) of milk
2 cups (300 ml) of wheat flour
1 cup (300 ml) soybean oil
100 g grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of baking powder
2 eggs
1 small box of cream
500 g cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 chopped onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of oil
1 chopped tomato
1/2 cup (100 g) green corn
1/2 cup (100 g) peas
1/2 cup (100 g) cream cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a blender, blend all the dough ingredients until smooth.
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in oil until golden.
- Add the chicken, tomato, corn, peas, cream cheese, salt and black pepper.
Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes, until the filling is creamy. - In a greased and floured pan, pour half of the dough.
Then add the filling and cover with the rest of the dough. - Bake in a preheated medium oven (180°C) for about 30 minutes, or until the dough is golden.
Notes
- For a tastier pie, season the chicken with salt, black pepper and other ingredients of your choice, such as fine herbs, paprika or curry.
- You can add other ingredients to the filling, such as olives, hearts of palm, mushrooms, etc.
- For a creamier pie, add 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream to the filling.
- Serve the pie hot or cold.
