Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of cornmeal
2 cups of milk
1/2 cup wheat flour
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup grated cheese (you can use Parmesan or your favorite cheese)
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.Â
Unite a round shape with butter and sprinkle with cornmeal. - In the blender, add the eggs, sugar, milk, cornmeal, wheat flour and grated cheese.
- Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Then add the melted butter and baking powder, and beat again just to incorporate the ingredients.
- Pour the dough into the prepared form.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
