Ingredients
1 cup (tea) wheat flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup (tea) milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
500g of ground beef
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 chopped tomato
Salt, pepper and green scent to taste
Grated cheese (optional)
Tomato sauce (optional)
Directions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, eggs, milk and salt.
- Beat until a homogeneous mass forms.
- Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in oil.
- Add the ground beef and sauté until golden.
- Add the tomato, salt, pepper and green chilli.
- Mix well and let it cook for a few more minutes.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Place a ladle of the batter in the frying pan and spread it into a thin pancake.
- Let the pancake brown on one side and then turn to brown on the other.
- Remove the pancake from the pan and set aside.
- Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
- Fill each pancake with the ground meat sauce.
- Fold in half or roll the pancake.
- Serve with grated cheese and tomato sauce to taste.
Notes
- To prevent the pancakes from sticking to the pan, grease it with a little oil or butter before adding the dough.
- If you want, add other ingredients to the filling, such as corn, peas, carrots or olives.
- For a special touch, serve the pancake with a creamy cheese sauce.
