Chocolate mug cake is a quick and easy recipe to make, perfect for a snack or breakfast. The cake has an intense chocolate flavor and is very fluffy.

To vary the flavor, you can add other ingredients to the batter, such as nuts, fruit or chocolate chips. You can also make a chocolate sauce to accompany the cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder

  • 3 tablespoons of oil

  • 3 tablespoons of milk

  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour

  • 1 pinch of baking powder

Directions

  • In a microwave-safe mug, place the egg, sugar, cocoa powder, oil and milk. Mix well with a fork until smooth.
  • Add the wheat flour and baking powder and mix again until incorporated.
  • Place the mug in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes, or until the cake rises and turns golden.
  • Serve hot or cold, with or without topping.
