To make your chocolate fondue, use the ingredients below and follow the instructions in the preparation method.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of chopped milk chocolate

  • 100 grams chopped bittersweet chocolate

  • 1 can of cream (395 ml)

  • 1 tablespoon cognac or cachaça (optional)

  • Accompaniments: chopped fruit, marshmallows, cookies, sweet biscuits, etc.

Directions

  • In a fondue pot or small saucepan, place the chopped chocolate and cream.
  • Take to medium fire, in a bain-marie, stirring constantly until the chocolate melts and becomes homogeneous.
  • If you want, add the cognac or cachaça and mix.
  • Serve the fondue hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • So that the chocolate doesn’t burn, it’s important to always stir it during melting.
  • If the chocolate is too thick, add a little warm milk until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • You can use different types of chocolate to make fondue, such as white chocolate, dark chocolate, or chocolate with fruit pieces.
