minutesTo prepare your Brazilian Brigadeirão, use the ingredients and follow the instructions for preparation.
Ingredients
1 can of cream
3 cans of condensed milk
4 eggs
4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
1 tablespoon of butter
Chocolate sprinkles (to decorate)
Butter (to grease the pan)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease a pudding mold (approximately 20 cm in diameter) with butter.
- In the blender, place the condensed milk, the cream, the eggs, the chocolate powder and the butter.
- Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the greased form.
- Cover the form with aluminum foil.
- Place the mold inside a larger roasting pan and add hot water to the pan, forming a bain-marie.
- Place in preheated oven and bake in bain-marie for about 1 hour.
Time may vary, so keep an eye out.
The brigadeiro is ready when it is firm around the edges and slightly firm in the center. - Take the mold out of the oven and out of the water bath.
- Let the brigadeiro cool completely.
- Once cold, take the brigadeiro to the fridge for a few hours or until it is very cold.
- When ready to serve, unmold the brigadeiro onto a serving plate and decorate with chocolate sprinkles.
- Cut into slices and serve.
The brigadeiro can be accompanied by whipped cream, fresh fruit or ice cream, if desired.
