Ingredients
2 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 small chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of milk
1 cup wheat flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Vegetable oil (for greasing the frying pan)
Directions
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until soft and golden.
- Add the shredded chicken to the pan and stir well.
- Add the tomato sauce and water to the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reserve.
- In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, milk, eggs and melted butter.
- Beat well until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and grease it with a little vegetable oil.
- Pour a small ladle of batter into the skillet and spread it out evenly.
- Cook the pancake for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Repeat the process until you finish all the dough.
- Put a portion of the chicken stuffing on each pancake and roll them up.
- Serve the chicken pancakes hot, accompanied by salad or sauce of your choice.
