1 cup (200g) sugar
1/2 cup (120ml) water
4 dwarf bananas, ripe
3 eggs
1/2 cup (100g) sugar
1/2 cup (120ml) oil
2 cups (240g) wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Cinnamon powder for sprinkling
Directions
- In a pan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it forms a caramel.
- Carefully add the water and stir until the sugar dissolves and forms a syrup.
- Arrange the sliced bananas over the syrup.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until it forms a fluffy cream.
- Add the oil and mix well.
- Add the wheat flour, yeast and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the bananas.
- Bake in a medium oven (180°C) for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
