The simplicity of this tin corn cake is the success of the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups cornmeal (tea)

  • 1 cup (tea) and 1/2 of sugar

  • 1 cup of milk (tea)

  • 1 can of green corn (without the water)

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of oil

  • Icing sugar

  • Cinnamon powder

Directions

  • Start by placing the eggs, green corn, milk, oil, sugar and cornmeal in the blender.
  • Cover and beat for 3 minutes. 
    Add the baking powder and beat just to mix.
  • Put the dough in a greased shape with butter or margarine and cornmeal.
  • Bake the cake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
  • Wait for the cake to cool at room temperature, sprinkle icing sugar and cinnamon powder on top (optional) and it can be served.
