For your Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken (Low Carb) to be perfect, you will need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillets

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil

  • 1 bunch of romaine lettuce

  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup of croutons

  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Start by seasoning the chicken fillets with salt and pepper and grilling them in a hot skillet with a little olive oil until golden on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
  • Let cool and cut into thin slices.
  • Then place the romaine lettuce in a large bowl and add the grilled chicken, Parmesan cheese, croutons and minced garlic.
  • To make Caesar dressing, mix mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat all ingredients.
  • Serve next.

Notes

  • Tip: if you want to make the salad even more nutritious, you can add other chopped vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, grated carrots or red peppers. You can also use another type of cheese, such as feta cheese or shredded cheese. Try different combinations to find your favorite!
