Ingredients
1 green or purple cabbage (approximately 500g)
1 medium carrot
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or white wine
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Chopped parsley to taste (optional)
Directions
- Cut the cabbage into thin slices.
- Peel and grate the carrot.
- In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Mix well and serve.
Notes
- To make the salad more refreshing, you can add a little lemon or orange juice.
- If you want, you can add other ingredients to the salad, such as chopped apple, chopped pineapple, nuts or raisins.
- For a healthier salad, you can use light mayonnaise or natural yogurt instead of traditional mayonnaise.
