  • 1 can of drained peas

  • 1 can of drained corn

  • 200g shredded cheese (mozzarella, dish or other of your choice)

  • 200g of chopped ham

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Oregano to taste

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a rectangular or round shape with butter or oil.
  • In the blender, add the eggs, milk, oil, wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat well until you get a homogeneous mass.
  • In a pan, heat a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
  • Add the chopped tomato and sauté for a few more minutes.
  • Add the green corn, peas, ham and cheese to the stew in the pan.
  • Season with salt, pepper and oregano to taste.

  • Pour half of the dough from the blender into the greased form and spread the filling over it.
  • Cover with the remaining dough.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden and firm.
  • Do the toothpick test: if when inserting it in the center of the pie it comes out clean, it means it’s ready.
