Blender cornmeal cake is an easy and quick recipe to prepare, which is fluffy and tasty.

The traditional recipe only requires five ingredients, which are blended in a blender.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of cornmeal

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour without yeast

  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup (tea) of milk

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Notes

  • For a tastier cake, use cornmeal.

    You can add other ingredients to the batter, such as shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or fruit.

    If you want a moister cake, add 1/2 cup of oil to the batter.
