This Beef Stroganoff will be delicious if you follow the step-by-step using the ingredients below.

Ingredients

  • 500g beef (filet mignon, rump, sirloin steak) cut into thin strips

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 large chopped onion

  • 200g sliced ​​canned mushrooms

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 3 tablespoons of butter

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 can of cream

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley to garnish

Directions

  • In a large pan, heat butter and vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan and sauté until golden and soft.
  • Add the meat cut into strips to the pan and cook until it is browned on all sides.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the sliced ​​champignons to the pan and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Then add the ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the pan.
  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
  • Lastly, add the cream to the pan and mix well.
  • Warm the stroganoff for a few more minutes, but avoid letting it boil.
  • Remove from the heat and serve the beef stroganoff accompanied by white rice, straw potatoes or pasta.
  • If desired, garnish with chopped parsley on top before serving.
