Ingredients
1 cup cooked beans
1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
1 chopped onion
1 clove of minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil or oil for sautéing
Directions
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil or oil until they are soft and golden.
- Add the rice and mix well so that it is coated with oil.
- Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the beans and the 2 cups of water.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the pan and place over medium-high heat until the water is almost completely absorbed.
- Lower the heat, and let it cook for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is soft and cooked.
