Banana Jelly

Ingredients
500 grams of banana (5 large heavy bananas without the peel)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) sugar
1/2 teaspoon powdered cloves or 5 units
1/2 teaspoon(s) grated ginger
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon powder
240 ml of water
Directions
- Mash the bananas very well with a fork on a plate and set aside.
- In a pan put 1 cup of sugar, lead to fire and when it melts put the rest.
- Stir the sugar until it melts completely, add the water little by little and keep stirring until you form a caramelized syrup.
- Add the mashed bananas to the caramelized syrup and stir well until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Put the grated ginger, lemon juice, powdered cloves, powdered cinnamon and mix very well over low heat for a few minutes.
- When the mixture comes to a boil, stir a little more and turn off the heat.
Transfer the mixture to a container with a lid and wait to cool at room temperature. - Store the candy in the fridge when it’s cold and the banana jam is ready to eat.
