It is a healthy and delicious option, as the bananas provide natural sweetness and the oats help to give a softer texture and still provide nutritional benefits.

Ingredients

  • 2 mashed ripe bananas

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup of honey

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter or vegetable oil.
  • In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, oats, wheat flour, honey, eggs, milk, oil, baking powder, vanilla essence and salt.
  • Beat well until you get a homogeneous mass.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Let cool before unmolding and serving.
