Ingredients
250 ml whole milk
40 grams of grated parmesan cheese
1 cup (tea) of sugar
2 cans of green corn
2 tablespoons of butter
4 tablespoons cornstarch
Butter or margarine for greasing the mold
Directions
- Add the drained and washed corns to the blender, add the whole milk and beat for 2 minutes.
- With the help of a spoon pass the liquid through a sieve into a container, add the butter, sugar and stir well.
- Add the grated parmesan cheese, cornstarch and stir again until the dough is uniform.
- Transfer the dough to a greased shape with butter or margarine and place inside a larger roasting pan with a little water and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake the dessert in a bain-marie in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 60 minutes.
- Wait for the candy to cool down before unmolding it and the oven tamale is ready to be cut and served.
