Apple cake is a delicious and classic cake that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with apples, wheat flour, sugar, eggs, oil and yeast. Cinnamon is an optional ingredient that adds a delicious flavor.

Apple cake can be made in several different ways. 
One way is to blend all the ingredients in a blender. 
Another way is to beat the dry and wet ingredients separately and then mix them together.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 3 large apples, peeled and chopped

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 
    Grease and flour a 30cm cake tin.
  • In a blender, beat the eggs, oil and apple peels until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  • Add the blender mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Add the chopped apples and mix gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before serving.
