Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour (tea)

  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon powder

  • 3 large apples, peeled and chopped

  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup oil (tea)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 
    Grease and flour a 20 cm diameter cake tin.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs with the oil until smooth.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Add chopped apples and mix gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before unmolding.

Notes

  • To make the cake more moist, add 1/2 cup (tea) of natural yogurt or kefir.
  • To make the cake sweeter, add 1/4 cup (tea) of honey or brown sugar.
  • You can add other ingredients to the dough, such as dried fruit, nuts or chopped chocolate.
