Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup natural yogurt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour to prevent the cake from sticking.
- In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until puree.
- Reserve.
- In another bowl, mix the wheat flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredient mixture and add the melted butter, eggs, mashed banana, vanilla extract and yogurt.
- Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack. Once completely cooled, cut into slices and serve.
