Ingredients
1 can of green corn (drained)
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of milk (use the corn can to measure)
1/2 can vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 and 1/2 cup fine corn flour
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with margarine and wheat flour.
- In the blender, add the drained corn, condensed milk, milk, oil and eggs.
- Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- In a large bowl, mix the corn and wheat flours, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the liquid mixture from the blender over the dry ingredients in the bowl.
- Stir gently until a uniform dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to the greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, or until the cake is golden and firm to the touch.
- Do the toothpick test to make sure the inside is cooked.
- Remove from the oven and let the cake cool before unmolding.
