The Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OCI) issued a statement on Sunday, 14, through the agency HE DIEDcondemning the rise in crimes and acts of terrorism committed by extremist settler groups under the protection of Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians and their property in several West Bank villages.
The OIC described the attacks, which included shooting at Palestinian residents and destroying property, as an extension of Israel’s aggression against the Palestinian people. The organization emphasized that such actions represent a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The Islamic organization held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of the continued daily crimes and attacks against Palestinians.
Furthermore, he urged the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities by providing international protection to the Palestinian people.
The OIC also highlighted the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive cessation of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
Finally, he reiterated the importance of holding the Israeli occupation accountable for all crimes committed against the Palestinian people, their lands and sacred sites.
