Chinese president proposes four principles to avoid escalating crisis in Ukraine

Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed this Tuesday, the 16th, four principles to prevent the crisis in Ukraine from getting out of control and to restore peace as quickly as possible.

Xi met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Beijing, and the two leaders had an in-depth exchange of views on the crisis in Ukraine during their talks.

Xi emphasized that in the current situation, to prevent the conflict from spiraling out of control, all parties must work together to restore peace as soon as possible. To achieve this, he proposed four principles.
