It is a perfect cake to be served with coffee or afternoon tea.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of oil

  • 1 and a half cup of milk

  • 1 and a half cup of sugar

  • 1 cup roasted and ground peanuts

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to medium temperature (180°C). 
    Grease and flour a cake pan.
  • In a mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until a fluffy, whitish mixture forms.
  • Add the oil and milk and beat until combined.
  • Add the wheat flour and baking powder and mix gently until a homogeneous dough forms.
  • Lastly, add the ground peanuts and mix until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before unmolding.
