The ingredients used are:

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage

  • 1 cup of raw rice (tea)

  • 500 grams of ground beef

  • 1 large chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup chopped green chilli

  • 1 can of ready-made tomato sauce

  • Water to cook the cabbage

Directions

  • Separate the cabbage leaves, removing the central stalk.
  • Place the leaves in a pan of boiling water and cook until they are tender, but not too soft.
  • In a bowl, mix the rice, ground meat, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper and green chilli.
  • Stuff each cabbage leaf with the meat mixture and roll up like a roulade.
  • Place the cigars in a pan and add the tomato sauce.
  • Cover with water until the cigars are covered.
  • Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, or until the cigars are cooked through.
