It is a simple dish, but very tasty and nutritious. 
The meat, usually chuck or muscle, is slowly cooked in an onion, garlic and tomato sauce until tender and juicy. 
The potatoes are added at the end of cooking so they don’t become too soft.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chuck or muscle meat, cut into cubes

  • 2 tablespoons of oil

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 1 chopped tomato

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 kg of potatoes cut into cubes

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
  • Add the meat and sauté for another 10 minutes, or until golden.
  • Add the tomato, bay leaf, salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Pour in enough water to cover the meat.
  • Close the pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
  • Remove the pressure from the pan and add the potatoes.
  • Cook for another 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.
  • Serve it hot.
