International Shrimp

International shrimp is a typical dish of Brazilian cuisine. It is a mixture of shrimp, peas, corn, cottage cheese, cream and mozzarella cheese. The dish is creamy and tasty, and is a great option for a special lunch or dinner.

Shrimp is an ingredient rich in proteins and vitamins. 
Peas and corn are sources of fiber and vitamins. 
Cottage cheese and cream add creaminess and flavor to the dish. 
Melted mozzarella cheese forms a delicious crust.

International shrimp can be served with white rice or straw potatoes. 
It can also be served as an appetizer or starter.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of medium shrimp, cleaned

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 can of peas

  • 1 can of green corn

  • 1 pot of cream cheese

  • 1 box of cream

  • 200 g grated mozzarella cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a large pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
  • Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. 
    Cook for 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink.
  • Add the peas, corn, cottage cheese and cream. 
    Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and add the grated mozzarella cheese. 
    Mix until the cheese melts.
  • Serve immediately.
