Ingredients
1 kilo of cabotiá pumpkin, peeled and cut into cubes
1 liter of water
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup of milk
Grated nutmeg to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large pan, place the pumpkin, water and salt.
- Place over medium heat and cook until the pumpkin is soft.
- Drain the water and mash the pumpkin with a fork or pass through a juicer.
- Return the mashed pumpkin to the pan and add the butter, milk, nutmeg and black pepper.
- Mix well and cook for a few more minutes, until the puree is creamy.
