Ingredients
2 cups of cornmeal
2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
1 tablespoon of dry yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 cup of warm milk
1/2 cup (tea) of oil
2 eggs
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, wheat flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the warm milk, oil and eggs.
- Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry mixture and mix well until a homogeneous dough forms.
- Grease and flour a 24 cm round cake pan.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
