Pasta in the Pressure Cooker

Ingredients
500g screw pasta
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
500g prepared tomato sauce
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup of water
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a pressure cooker, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the tomato sauce, water, salt and black pepper.
- Mix well.
- Add the noodles and mix again.
- Cover the pan and lead to high fire.
- When you start beeping, count 3 minutes and turn off the fire.
- Wait for the pressure to release naturally, or for about 10 minutes.
- Open the pan and serve the pasta hot.
Notes
- For more al dente pasta, cook for 2 minutes less than the time indicated on the package.
- For creamier pasta, add 1/2 cup of cream at the end of cooking.
- You can add other ingredients to the pasta, such as cheese, ham, bacon, chicken or sausage.
