Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk (395 g)
2 cups whole milk (500 ml)
2 tablespoons of corn starch
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Directions
- In a pan, mix condensed milk, milk, cornstarch and egg yolks.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. - Turn off the heat and add the vanilla essence.
- Let it cool and use it in your favorite recipes.
Notes
- To prevent the cream from forming lumps, always stir with a wire whisk or a wooden spoon.
- If you want a more consistent cream, add more cornstarch.
- For a more flavored cream, add a little lemon or orange zest.
