Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (medium temperature). 
    Unite a form of cake with butter and wheat flour.
  • In the blender, add the eggs, sugar, milk and oil.
  • Beat everything for about 2 minutes until you get a homogeneous mix.
  • Then add the wheat flour and cocoa powder to the blender.
  • Beat again until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Add the baking powder and whisk quickly just to mix it into the dough.
  • Avoid beating too much at this stage, so as not to lose the yeast effect.
  • Pour the dough into the previously greased mold and smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Turn it out onto a plate or platter.
  • Your blender chocolate cake is ready! 
    You can serve it pure or, if you prefer, add a topping of your choice, such as brigadeiro, ganache or chocolate sauce.
