Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon powdered yeast

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
    Grease a cake tin with a little oil or butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Add eggs, vegetable oil and brown sugar to mashed bananas.
  • Mix well until smooth.
  • In another bowl, combine the oats, all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Be careful not to stir too much, as this can make the cake heavy.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared mold and level the surface with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
  • Then transfer to a cooling rack and cool completely before serving.
